BFD Birthday Drive-by

Although COVID-19 is putting a strain on all of us, the Broussard Fire Dept. & Broussard Police Dept. are looking to stay connected with our community and our children.  Some children may not understand why they cannot go to school, to their favorite entertainment venue, or celebrate birthdays with friends.  For those of you hoping to make your child’s day special, we would like to assist.

For children within our community who are having birthdays that have been affected by the social distancing requirements, the Broussard Fire Dept. & Broussard Police Dept. are offering to send one of our fire trucks and a police unit to drive by that child’s home. There are some stipulations to ensure that we are complying with the governor’s orders.
