Broussard Fire Dedicates Engine 24 and 27 in Blessing Ceremony
On the evening of October 20th at Station One, The Broussard Fire Dept held a dedication and blessing of Engine 24 and 27. This touching ceremony involved all agencies from the City of Broussard, including the fire department, police department, and Acadian Ambulance members.
These two brand new fire pumpers were also dedicated to the memory of Firefighters Ricky Vice and Rhian Quebedeaux who have departed our department to be with the Lord.
Lastly, everyone in attendance help to “push” the trucks into the station bays symbolically starting their service with the fire department.
