In our commitment to providing the highest level of service to the great city of Broussard, the Broussard Fire Department employs part-time firefighters to fill shifts around the clock. As a combination department, this approach allows BFD to staff two of our three stations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This staffing model supplements our dedicated volunteer fire service and ensures a professional, high-quality response to every incident in Broussard.
